The UK Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (UK AEE) has been officially reactivated, reaffirming its commitment to advancing interests within the energy sector while championing development initiatives.

ClearVUE.Business is pleased to announce the appointment of our Senior Energy Manager, Dave Grinstead, as a Membership Manager of the UK branch of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).

The revival of the UK AEE comes when the global organisation is experiencing growth, boasting over 18,000 members and 25,000 certified professionals across more than 100 countries. This resurgence has been made possible through the support and collaboration with the central AEE team.

ClearVUE.Business’ Senior Energy Manager, Dave Grinstead, has also taken part in reactivating the UK Charter and will now be Membership Manager within the AEE’s Board of Directors.

The AEE were the originators of the most internationally recognised set of energy management qualifications & processes, including the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) and the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) qualification.

The UK AEE operates under the umbrella of the Association of Energy Engineers (UK) Limited, dedicated to supporting professionals engaged in roles related to energy, regardless of their engineering background. The Association, a registered company in England and Wales, operates on a non-profit basis, directing the proceeds from events and income toward aiding the development of its members.

The reactivation of the UK branch of the AEE is a testament to the growing importance of energy management in the region. With the AEE’s rich history of pioneering globally recognised energy management qualifications, such as the Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) and the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) qualification, this partnership is poised to bring significant value to businesses across the UK.

Membership in the UK AEE is open to all individuals involved in energy-saving efforts for their employers, transcending traditional engineering roles. Non-members are also encouraged to participate in UK AEE events.

With the reactivation complete, the UK AEE is poised to re-engage members from all corners of the United Kingdom. Over the coming months, the organisation plans to establish consistent chapter operations, introduce its team, and unveil its initiatives aimed at driving efficiency and sustainability.

As the UK AEE embarks on this new chapter, it stands ready to champion an energy future for the nation, bringing together professionals from diverse backgrounds to address challenges of our time.

ClearVUE.Business looks forward to the collaborative opportunities this partnership will bring. We remain committed to providing our clients with cutting-edge solutions and expertise, and Dave Grinstead’s appointment further solidifies our position as leaders in the energy management domain.
