ClearVUE.Business Unites with KLM UK Engineering to Transform Net Zero Journey

The partnership signals a significant milestone in our collective net zero journey, reinforcing a mutual dedication to sustainability.

ClearVUE.Business, a prominent net zero consultancy, and KLM UK Engineering, a leading Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) provider in the UK, have announced a new, transformative partnership. This collaboration demonstrates their shared commitment to sustainability and the global net zero mission.

KLM UK Engineering, based at Norwich International Airport, operates across three hangars and six fully equipped modern bases, along with a workshop facility. Their expansive operations and commitment to integrating sustainability targets into their strategy make them an ideal partner for ClearVUE.Business, whose mission is to guide businesses on their journey to net zero.

ClearVUE.Business will roll out its award-winning technology across KLM UK Engineering’s three hangars and the workshop facility.

KLM UK Engineering will have the ability to identify areas of high energy usage and take action on inefficiencies proactively, avoiding costs linked to machinery that is under or over performing (proactive repair or unnecessary consumption).

The monitoring system will specifically focus on Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, which are direct emissions from owned or controlled sources, and indirect emissions from the generation of purchased energy, respectively.

Additionally, the data on these emissions is collated and organised using built-in UK reporting standards, allowing KLM UK Engineering to automatically download professional compliance reports in seconds – another cost and resource saving feature.

Leah Barrett, Director at ClearVUE.Business, expressed her excitement about the partnership, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with KLM UK Engineering. This project marks an exciting milestone for us as we embark on a journey towards a more sustainable future together. We envision this collaboration as just the beginning, with a shared vision to expand and collaborate with more companies in the sector and beyond. Together, we aim to drive positive change and accelerate the transition towards a greener and more energy-efficient future.”

Martin De Jong, Finance Director from KLM UK Engineering added, “Prioritising sustainability is crucial to making the world a better place for future generations. We’re looking forward to partnering with ClearVUE.Business in our journey to continuously improve our sustainability profile. This partnership will enable us to capitalise on data to make our operations more energy efficient, reducing our carbon footprint and bringing us closer to our sustainability goals. We believe that the path to a sustainable future is a shared journey, and we are excited to be taking these significant steps forward with ClearVUE.Business.”

Together the companies are transcending the traditional notion of corporate compliance, and instead serving as a dynamic force igniting transformative shifts towards a future characterised by sustainability.
