What is the job about?

We are looking for a passionate and experienced IT Support Administrator to join our global IT team and provide technical support, maintain systems and software, and drive local internal IT support and operations for our Malta office. The successful candidate will be the point of contact for internal IT related tasks and work remotely with our UK and FR teams. This is an exciting role covering multiple internal IT areas with opportunities to grow.

What exactly will you do?

  • Install, configure, diagnose, repair, upgrade and maintain equipment;
  • Maintain, and support networking infrastructure;
  • Deliver high-quality 1st & 2nd line IT support to internal users in a professional manner;
  • Document technical issues and solutions for future requirements;
  • Maintain operational documentation including knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures;
  • Manage end-user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices;
  • Keep inventory of IT purchases and assets, create & update inventory records, assigning equipment to users, auditing inventory, performing decommissioning;
  • Monitor and maintain network to ensure security and regulatory compliance;
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of IT Service Management standards and processes;
  • Take care of staff on/offboarding processes;
  • Actively manage IT Helpdesk requests and act as a point of contact for IT support.

What we’re looking for

Experience:

  • Proficiency with 2+ years of experience in IT Administration, Support or Service Desk positions;
  • Good knowledge of Windows systems in a corporate environment & MacOS
  • Experience on Windows provisioning, deployment, and patch management;
  • Good understanding of ticket management & service desk software (Atlassian);
  • Experience on Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Azure;
  • Knowledge of networks, routers, firewalls, and IP addressing.
  • Knowledge of modern office network environments using technologies such as Ubiquiti and Cisco Meraki
  • Understanding of WLAN technology.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Qualifications in related industry standard certifications, such as MCSA, CCNA, A+, are not required but will be considered an asset.
