The opportunity

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be working within the Information Security Team and collaborating with Software Developers and DevOps Engineers to ensure that software delivery is secure, scalable, and reliable. You will support the team in all aspects of security, including data security, secure coding principles, and cloud infrastructure. You will help in the deployment of security controls and the day-to-day operations if the team.

The security analyst vacancy presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about safeguarding digital assets and data integrity. As a security analyst, you will have the chance to work at the forefront of cybersecurity, identifying and mitigating potential threats to the organization’s systems and information. This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust security measures. You will be involved in conducting vulnerability assessments, responding to incidents, and contributing to the creation of security policies.

What is the job about?

Responsibilities:

  • Support the deployment and maintenance of security controls such as Vulnerability Scanners, WAF, IPS, IAM, Firewall etc
  • Monitoring alerts from SIEM and investigating security incidents.
  • Help in the day-to-day operation of the team.
  • Support the team in collecting evidence for audits such as ISO27001 and implementing improvements.
  • Provide guidance to other teams to fix vulnerabilities.

What we’re looking for

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field or
  • 3+ years’ experience working within a security team.
  • A security related certification such as CISA, CISM, CSSLP, or CISSP.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess risks, threats, patterns and trends.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing security standards such as ISO27001, ASVS, OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 20, and other legislative requirements.
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining security controls such as WAF, Firewall, IPS and IAM
  • Experience in securing microservice architectures, APIs, data pipelines, and container-based deployments.
  • Working experience with cloud platforms example Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.
  • Coding experience is always a plus, either with JavaScript, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
