The opportunity

Using your analytical skills, you will help make sense of the data and extract insights that will support and enhance our industry-leading energy and carbon management consultancy and technology solutions.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a data analyst. Your main responsibility will be to search the internet for potential data sources and evaluate their suitability for our needs. You will also be using web scraping and data extraction techniques to collect and organize data. This is a core role in our company, and the right candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our data collection and analysis efforts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in a related field such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics to gain experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What is the job about?

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for sourcing, collecting and organizing data from various sources across the internet. You will work in close collaboration with the ClearVUE.Zero product development team.

What exactly will you do?

Key responsibilities:

  • Scout the internet for potential data sources and evaluate their suitability for our needs.
  • Use web scraping and data extraction techniques to collect and organize data.
  • Clean and prepare data for analysis using programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Use analytical tools such as SQL and Excel to analyse the data and extract insights.
  • Create reports and visualisations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other teams such as product, marketing, and operations to support decision-making.

What we’re looking for


  • Recent graduate with a degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large data sets.
  • Experience with web scraping and data extraction techniques.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Excel is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
