The opportunity

We are looking for an Account Manager who is passionate about helping businesses reduce their environmental impact. You will engage with businesses across the country and in all sectors, motivating and inspiring them to take full advantage of our services and technologies that will help them succeed in their greenhouse gas reduction strategies. This role is an exceptional opportunity to work in a globally important and rapidly growing industry.

What is the job about?

You will connect with industrial and commercial businesses by making outbound B2B calls, holding virtual demonstrations, develop, and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and suppliers across the UK (and beyond). You will also be responsible for identifying, sourcing and closing your own business opportunities.

What exactly will you do?

  • Sourcing and cold calling potential clients and explaining the benefits of using ClearVUE’s services
  • Present our unique carbon and energy management solution – ClearVUE.Zero – that provides depths of carbon and energy data analytics not found in any other solution
  • Cross sell across multiple carbon reduction and energy management products/models
  • Understand a potential client’s energy requirements through thorough questioning
  • Meet essential sales targets involving KPIs and daily management support
  • Focus on maximising and closing individual business opportunities
  • Provide effective demonstrations of technology products
  • Identify sales opportunities and consider best-case solutions to help manage energy
  • Handle objections using up to date market/product information
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with current and future customers
  • Adhere to sales compliance rules – all sales generated in line with our quality standards
  • Complete customer details and sales information to required standard on CRM system
  • Working closely with the Head of ClearVUE Sales and Head of Energy Services to maximise all opportunities
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales journey

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in an Energy Consultancy and a Software Solutions Business Development position is preferable
  • Energy Industry Background is desired – with an understanding of corporate energy terminology and their impacts e.g. (pass-through contract, flexible purchasing, energy management, tenders)
  • Thorough understanding of the B2B sales process
  • Proven Track record within outbound sales
  • Can develop and maintain knowledge of the business energy and technology energy market.
  • Good business acumen
  • Self-motivated, driven and not afraid of a challenge
  • Experienced and confident in presenting at c-suite level and senior management
  • Fully competent with Microsoft Office and CRM
  • Organised, effective, able to independently manage personal workload
  • Excellent communication skills, developing urgency on calls, explain clearly and thoroughly the benefits and business case for the product sets.
